Role Overview
Lead strategic procurement of construction materials, heavy machinery spares, and subcontractor services while enforcing quality and budget controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier bids and negotiate volume discounts
- Prepare procurement contracts under Kenyan commercial law
- Manage supplier relationships, lead times, and QA inspections
- Optimize inventory across central warehouse and construction sites
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Civil Engineering
- CIPS qualified; KISM member
- 4+ years procurement in construction, mining, or manufacturing
- Strong contract negotiation skills
