Role Overview
Support UNEP's Global Oceans Programme with policy research, stakeholder coordination, and drafting of technical publications.
Key Responsibilities
- Research marine environmental policy and international agreements
- Contribute to position papers for UNEA and UNOC
- Support coordination with GEAS and GBAD networks
- Maintain project tracking systems
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's in Marine Science, Environmental Law, or related
- Under 32 years of age (JPO eligibility)
- Excellent academic record
- Fluency in English; second UN language advantageous
