Center Board
Marsabit Plaza, Ngong Road
Nairobi, Kenya
Email: info@centerboard.co.ke

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Platform, access our career research guides, utilize our statutory tax and salary calculators, review job vacancies, or interact with our career advisory tools. This policy applies to all visitors, job candidates, and enterprise clients.
2. Information We Collect
We adhere strictly to data minimization principles. We only collect personal information that is necessary for providing our services or communicating with you:
- Voluntarily Provided Contact Data: When you reach out via our Contact form or send an inquiry to
info@centerboard.co.ke, we collect your full name, email address, phone number (if supplied), subject, and the contents of your message. - Newsletter Subscriptions: When you subscribe to our hiring and career insights newsletter in the website footer or blog pages, we collect your email address solely to deliver relevant updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by writing to us.
- Automated Technical & Server Log Data: Like most web servers, our infrastructure automatically records standard technical parameters when your browser requests a page. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser user-agent string, operating system, referring URLs, date and time stamps, and requested pages. This log data is used exclusively for technical diagnostics, network security, and server load balancing.
3. How Your Information Is Handled in Career & Tax Tools
Transparency regarding our specialized interactive tools is paramount:
- AI CV Builder & Cover Letter Maker: When you enter professional credentials, employment history, education, or contact details into our AI CV Builder (
tool-cv-builder.html) or Cover Letter Generator (tool-cover-letter.html), that data is handled client-side in your local browser runtime. Center Board does not upload, harvest, or store your un-submitted resume drafts or personal biographies in a central database. When you request AI summary enhancement, only the prompt context you choose is transmitted via secured API to our AI generation provider (e.g., Google Gemini API) for instantaneous processing, after which you retain exclusive possession of your generated PDF or document. - Statutory Tax & Salary Calculators: When you input salary amounts, pension parameters, or mortgage figures into our Kenyan or international tax calculators, all arithmetic computations are executed in real time via JavaScript in your local browser. Your salary numbers are never transmitted, recorded, or linked to your identity.
