Role Overview
Scale a payroll SaaS platform used by 5,000+ Kenyan businesses — build real-time KRA tax engines and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize payroll calculation engines (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF)
- Develop React UI components and RESTful APIs
- Integrate with M-Pesa, pesalink, and banking payment rails
- Lead code reviews and maintain engineering quality standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years software engineering experience
- Strong React + Node.js + PostgreSQL stack expertise
- Experience with payroll, ERP, or financial SaaS platforms
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
